Kids acting as bullies can have bad effects on other kids who have to interact with them.

But how could bullies be the reason for a man to start an ambitious plan to transform human kind into a multi-planetary species?

In all his interviews about his childhood, Elon Musk has mentioned how he had a hard childhood and how he has been bullied by kids in school.

He suffered from them and had to live lonely in his childhood. Once they had beaten him that he had to stay at home for long time.

And they also bullied Elon’s friends so they stay away from him.

What I could conclude from these events that they had deep impact on Elon’s personality and behavior.

He tried to spend more time lonely and then tried to escape to reading science and fiction.

He had to escaping form painful reality by using this mechanism of loneliness and indulging in scientific literature.

Those events sure have left their prints on Elon’s self. This is another proof of my theory about how bad situations can lead to great ones.

I guess the coup against him in 2001 that lead to take away PayPal from him has its echoes of that bully behavior he suffered from as a child.

The guy didn’t rest even when he has made millions of dollars from his first two Silicon Valley startups, Zip2 and PayPal.

Instead he had his old dream to explore the space and to save humanity from facing extinction living on one planet.

He started to build SpaceX and creating new cheap rockets from ground up to make space flight easier.

This could make a great difference in future of humanity.

For myself, experience with people tried to hurt me had been very enriching.

When you think of it, you just cannot stay at your home and figure out how you could solve your problems or how to deal with bad guys.

Instead, this is something you've got to work for and need to learn in field of action.

Facing your fears might be the best way to conquer them.

It doesn’t matters what happens in our world, but what matters how we react to it.

There might be some good situations that lead to bad eventual results and on the contrary, some bad reasons might result in great outcomes.
