The Talent Code: Unlocking the Secret of Skill in Sports, Art, Music, Math, and Just About Anything

I've just started reading this amazing book.
The Talent Code.

I've heard Tony Robbins recommending it on one of his podcasts.

Amazingly, this book deals with some subject I'm really concerning these days, neuroscience and neuroplasticity.

I was first introduced to neuroplasticity from the book The brain That Changes itself. I read about how neuroplasticity has helped many people with brain damage and injuries become better and make their way to partial or complete mental health.

This book is exactly what I've been looking for. Neuroplasticity for healthy people to become more productive and talented.

This amazing book I've just started reading by the end of 2016. I hope I finish it before the start of 2017. Even with not being able to end it before the start of 2017, it's a good book to start the year with.

The Myelin, the main subject this book is targeting, that little component of the brain responsible for the skills and talents we acquire through our lives.

When you continue reading this book, you find explanation for all Phenomenon around you. From historic skilled icons to current skilled celebrities in the world. And even about skills you acquire yourself, you find explanation for them all.

The book introduces you to the process of generating and growing Myelin. It also mentions the factors speeding its creation.

For example, it's grown by repetitive practice of a certain skill. And this growing process is speeded by deep practice. This term defines the process of performing the skill in a certain way of repetition, passion, observing faults, corrective actions and repeating again.

I guess your way of looking at the world will not be the same after you start reading this book because your brain will never be the same at all.

My new website outatime.tech

After a long way through my carrier with blogging  I've decided to launch my new website.

Yes. Finally I've done it. My own website is up and running.

It's like a dream come true.

Although I have made my way through Google Blogger platform, but to have your own real website with your own domain name is totally different business.

I took the step and bought the package from Bluehost.

One primary domain name, website hosting with Wordpress installed and ready to launch.

This package was provided for $3.95/month and I got it at cyber Monday for $2.95/month.

I installed Amadeus theme, imported my blog into it and made some configuration.

Now I'm ready to post directly into my website.

But I cannot just abandon my old blogs on blogger. I post here from day to day.

I admit it. This platform has taught me the habit of blogging and I could feel comfort enough with it to buy a website and build it.

My advice to you is to go on. Please don't repeat my mistake. Go on and start building your own website from the first day.

There are a lot of good books on how to start your blogging business.

I recommend this one:
How To Make Money Blogging for Bob Lotich
It's a good book to start with.

You will not regret it. You are free to thank me later anytime for this precious advice.

I wish I had listened to it since I first started my blog back in 2008.

Good Luck

Amazon Audible Android Application

Yesterday I bought two audio books I've always wanted to get them for a long time but didn't take any action except for yesterday.

I actually did it and went to Audible.com and completed the registration and got the always available promotion they offer.

Once I registered I had a free gift of any 2 audio books I choose with any price.

Book One :

Tony Robbins' Money Master The Game : 7 steps to financial freedom

Book Two :

Vagabonding

I've downloaded the two books on the PC Audible application.

You can also listen to the books on your Android smart phone using Audible Android App. And that's what I did. I installed Audible Android App.

The books are large audio files so I wanted to transfer the files to the phone and not to download them again.

When I copied the files in the Audible Android App folder, I noticed that the application has no idea about the file.

I thought it would be necessary to download the audio book again to listen to it on my phone.

But I thought it would be a good idea to search on the web first to know what is the right folder in which Audible Android App can find audio books in and play accordingly.

Then I copied the next audio book file in the
\SDcard\Download folder.

It happened by coincidence and then I found that Audible Android App has the Vagabonding audio book inside the App.

Then I copied the first audio book file inside the \SDcard\Download folder and it has them both.

Conclusion:

I finally found the folder for Audible audio books which is

\SDcard\Download folder.

Science of Achievement and Art of Fulfillment

All of these ideas here in this article are from seminars and interviews I saw for Tony Robbins.

So I'll try to simulate Tony's way of thinking and writing.

Your brain is hard wired to make you survive. It's made to make you fight or flight.

It's wired to find what's wrong with things. It's not made to make you happy. That is your job.

Failure itself is not a failure. You may fail once and learn from it to succeed in the future but Success without Fulfillment is the ultimate failure.

That is why we find successful people who have achieved all what they were looking for and still feel misery in their lives.

Even average people, when they put some goals and targets for their lives and then achieve them, they always look for what's wrong with them.

Think about it.

Did you always wanted that job or that car or that child?

Don't you remember how you thought it was like impossible and it was your best wish to get them?

What happens if you get that all?

When you get the job you were looking for you just take it for granted and then start looking for disadvantages and troubles in it.

When you marry that woman you always wanted to marry, instead of living happily ever after, you both start to find what's wrong with your each other.

When you have that child you dreamed of having, after a while you start thinking of troubles and headache he causes for you and you forget that it was your dream someday to have a child.

Same thing for a car ,a business or a dream house.

We only take those things for granted and start looking for troubles and problems. We forget the beauty and happiness those things would have given us in the past as we wished.

That is the law of familiarity. There is no such thing that will ever make you happy.

If you could't find happiness and fulfillment right now then any of those things will never make you happy and if you get them you will get used to them and then you are in deep trouble.

You always need to keep growing, learning and keep getting better everydayBecause if you don't grow you die. If you don't get better you get worse.

The true happiness is in progress. The true happiness comes from you feeling that you are getting better everyday.

Some people have dirt road to happiness and highways to misery.

You gotta divorce your own old story and marry the truth of your success.

Find your own passion and create your breakthrough.

Quadcopter Successful step

Couple of months ago, I tried to build a mini quadcopter with small motors (7mm coreless motor)

I got those motors from Amazon and they just fit my needs to build a mini quadcopter.

I also found this motor on eBay that worth $5 for the four motors. But without the propellers.

I built the frame from wooden sticks and attached the motors to them.

I couldn't wait to make the quadcopter control and wanted to try to fly it directly using the battery without any control.

Of course, this is not a real trial to fly the quadcopter.

Since there is no meaning to fly the quadcopter without motor control.

But I was so excited that I wanted to see it lifted even without control.

The control circuit plays an important role for the quadcopter.

It controls each motor using PWM Pulse Width Modulation signals.

And it keeps the quadcopter leveled - or even tilted - depending on position information from the sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope).

The control circuit processes signals from sensors and then controls each motor accordingly using PWM.

First, I've decided to build it using Arduino Uno but then I found that Arduino Mini would be more convenient since it weights less.

I wanted to make this trial just to get this quadcopter flying quickly.

First, I connected all the motors in parallel with the Li-Po Lithium Polymer 3.7v battery.

Unfortunately, the quadcopter haven't been lifted even small centimeters of the ground while the motors were running at  full thrust.

Then, I connected a 12v DC power source with wires.

I thought of this a tethered quadcopter.

But also, the motors rotated and quadcopter didn't fly.

I was a little bit disappointed since I thought it would even step up of the ground.

My wife suggested that I connect the motors in series.

I thought it would be a good idea. Although the voltage for each motor will be the quarter of the total applied voltage. 12 volts / 4 motors = 3 volts for each motor.

But the current will be the same for each motor and is equal to the total current from the power supply.

This means larger current than the first trial (parallel connection) in which current was divided by four.

That is how I thought the results would be different from the first one. So I decided to try it.

And guess what happened !!! The motors rotated faster and the quadcopter was showing larger resistance to the gravity and lifted of the ground.

Now, I've learned three lessons from this trial before finishing the final quadcopter project:

The first lesson is psychological and sociological one.

I've learned that things may not run as you think it would from the first time.
You must NOT declare failure from the first trial.
Failure is not actually declared unless you declare it.

The other two lessons are technical:

- These motors need higher current to uplift the quadcopter not higher voltage
- The control circuit not only working on quadcopter stability, but also in this mini quadcopter plays the role of motor driver by giving them the proper current and voltage for rotation.
