My First Arabic Post on Instructables

Today I am so proud and happy to announce my first complete post on the big DIY Giant instructables.com

I've always wanted to publish in my native mother language Arabic.

I've tried it once before but it seemed like the website didn't support the Arabic Language back then. It was bad news for me but I kept making new projects and posting new articles on instructables.

It has been like addiction to motivation.

Today I came up with a whole new idea. I thought to myself: 

Why don't I translate my instructables to new languages like German, French or Spanish?

And then I started to translate my previous insrtuctables and to post in German and French too.

I thought of repeating my experiment in posting in Arabic Language on instructables.

You know what .... it works.

I don't know but it may be the first one also.

I've Googled it before and today but I didn't get any results. I couldn't find any information about other Arabic articles on instructables.

This was a huge shift for me.

I remember back in 2009 when I joined instructables as reader.

I've always searched the web for DIY and How-to's. I've always searched for many electronic circuits of projects to build and I got the same results .... You can always find it on instructables.

So as a reader it was something good for me but with no slightest effort. I even saved lots of articles on the hope that I may build some of them someday.

I've always had that feeling of delayed motivation that has been defeated by procrastination to post something on instructables.

Although I've previously posted projects and tutorials on my own blog since 2008 but I couldn't turn that motivation to post on instructables into a real thing.

It actually took me four years as a reader from 2009 until I had the courage to post my first post in 2013.

It only started when I saw a contest that I thought I had something to fit in. I knew before that contests are help on regular basis on instructables but I felt like this one is for me.

With the inspiration and help of my wife we published our first instructable.

Actually we both posted seven articles back then and they all got the theme of the contest that started it all the way.

We didn't won in this contest but it was a big opening for both of us.

The motivating and feedback from the healthy environment that instructables gave us was magnificent.

After many trials and posts I've won my first prize as a runner up on Leftovers Contest for my article about wind turbine made from recycled materials.

Today I urge you to start your instructables in your own language.

You will never regret it. They also have contests for first time authors.

Defeat that procrastination and start right now. I assure you that you'll never be the same anymore.

إستمع إلى القلب قبل العقل Listen to your heart before your mind

القلب والعقل يتحكمان في عملية اتخاذك للقرار 

القلب هو الذي يجذبك ويعدك بالسعادة ويحفزك على الإقدام والمبادرة على الفعل

أما العقل فهو الذي يحكمك ويحجم قراراتك ويبطئ من حركتك وأفعالك

القلب من طبيعته الإقدام

أما العقل من طبيعته الإحجام 

القلب يستخدم العاطفة في قراراته

أما العقل فيستخدم التحليل والمنطق

القلب دائم الإدعاء بأنك إن أطعته ستصل للسعادة

أما العقل فدائما ً يخيفك بأنك إن لم تطعه سوف تصطدم بالتعاسة والمشاكل في حياتك

لا يعني ذلك أنك يجب أن تتصف بالرعونة والطيش في جميع قراراتك ولكنوعليك أن تدرك جيدا ً هذه الحقيقة الأزلية

وهي أن مخك ليست وظيفته أن يسعدك أو يحفزك مطلقا ً

هو بالفعل ذلك الخادم المطيع لتنفيذ أوامرك وتحقيق أهدافك

ولكنه حينما تتركه لاتخاذ القرارات بنفسه فلا يستطيع إلا إخافتك وإعاقتك وذلك لأن وظيفته الأساسية هي حمايتك وإنقاذك من جميع الأخطار المحتملة

فهو دائما ً يبحث عن الخطأ لنقده ويبحث عن الخطر لتجنبه. ويبحث عن السلبيات ويركز عليها 

أما مهمة إسعادك فهي تقع على عاتقك أنت بالإرادة وبمساعدة صوت قلبك وما يرغبه بقوة

مهمة إسعادك تتحقق بإرادتك وبرغبتك في تحقيق سعادتك كهدفك الأول

قم بالتركيز على الإيجابيات التي ترغبها وليس السلبيات التي تكرهها

فكر في الفرص والإمكانيات ولاتدع التركيز على الأخطار والإحجام يمنعك

اشعر بما لديك بالفعل ولا تركز على ما لاتملك

إفعل ما تحب لتسعد قلبك وتنعش روحك

هل ركبت القطار السريع من قبل ؟

هل شعرت بما يشعر به الراكب من تحركات سريعة وانحناءات مفاجئة ومناورات تشعر معها وكأن قلبك على وشك الخروج من صدرك؟

أم أحسست شعور الشخص الذي يواجه الخطر وهو يركب هذه اللعبة ثم يفكر أن حياته قد تكون مهددة بسبب هذه اللعبة المرعبة؟

إنها مجرد لعبة . أليس كذلك ؟

بل إن الكثيرين ممن اعتادوا ركوب مثل هذه الألعاب في مدينة الملاهي يحبونها بشدة ويجدونها مشوقة للغاية.

تمثل لعبة القطار السريع بالضبط ما يحدث لك يوميا ً من خلال أفكارك إن لم تسيطر عليها فى كل لحظة . لو لم تركز على ما تفكر فيه يوميا ً ستشعر بالضبط شعور هذا الشخص الذي يركب القطار السريع ويتحرك في جميع الإتجاهات بسرعة فائقة

لنعطي مثالا ً لكي نقرب الفكرة 

في أحد الأيام تستيقظ صباحا ً علي خبر جميل فتتفاءل خيرا ً وتشعر أن هذا اليوم هو أجمل أيام حياتك . ثم تنزل الشارع لتذهب لعملك فإذا بك تجد إحدى إطارات السيارة فارغة من الهواء وتضطر إلى إبدالها بسرعة لتذهب للعمل فتشعر أن هذه ليست ببداية طيبة لليوم

ثم تذهب للعمل فإذا بمديرك يريد مقابلتك في بداية اليوم فتظل تفكر في جميع الأفكار السيئة أو الجزاءات أو المهام التي قد يوكلها إليك . ثم تذهب لتقابله فإذا به يخبرك بأنه يريد إعطاءك الزيادة التي كنت قد طلبتها منه الأسبوع الماضي فإذا بك تنفرج أساريرك وتشعر أن هذا اليوم هو يوم رائع في حياتك . كما أنك تشعر بخطأك حينما كنت تتوقع مسبقا ً الأفكار السيئة وبدأت بالتشاؤم 

لماذا نترك أنفسنا فريسة للأفكار سواءا ً الجيدة منها أو السيئة؟ 

أليست عقولنا هي أجزاء من أجسامنا يفترض بها أن تحت سيطرتنا وإرادتنا؟ 

هل يستطيع أحد أن يزعم أن يده تتحرك من تلقاء نفسها وتتوجه لتفعل أشياء لا يريدها هو وتنغص عليه حياته؟

أليست الأفكار هي منتج من عقولنا التي يفترض بها أن تخضع لسيطرتنا أم أن هذه العقول لها إرادة مستقلة وتستطيع أن تفعل ما تشاء وقتما تشاء وتلك الأفكار لها القدرة على إنتاج نفسها ذاتيا ً؟

يعتقد البعض أن السيطرة على الأفكار هو أمر مستحيل تماما ً . هو ليس بالأمر السهل بالطبع ولكن بالتدريب يصبح أمرا ً ممكنا ً .

أول خطوات السيطرة على الأفكار هو الإدراك التام ومعرفة أن العقل هو جزء منك تستطيع أنت أن تسيطر عليه تماما ً وأنه لن يستطيع الخروج على هذه السيطرة بحال من الأحوال سوى في حالات الخلل العقلي كالجنون أو الغياب عن الوعي

أنت لست عقلك . عقلك هو جزء منك . عقلك هو جزء هام بالطبع ويتحكم في الكثير من وظائفك ويمثل بالنسبة لك كينونتك وتعريفك لنفسك وللآخرين وذكرياتك وطموحاتك ....... ولكنه ليس أنت 

تستطيع أن تتحكم فيما يدخل عقلك من مؤثرات وفيما ينتج من أفكار

الخطوة الثانية هي أن تراقب باهتمام ما تعرضه على عقلك يوميا ً بصفة مستمرة من مؤثرات كأخبار وأفلام ومشاهد ومواقف مختلفة . فكل ذلك يؤثر على البنية الداخية لعقلك وبالتالي لطريقة إدراكك لذاتك وللحياة

الخطوة الثالثة هي المراقبة الدقيقة لما تفكر فيه . الأمر ليس بالأمر الهين . كما أنه ليس بالأمر المستحيل أو الشاق . مع القليل من التدريب والتركيز تستطيع أن تعرف أنك يمكنك أن تعرف تماما ً ما تفكر به

تستطيع أن تتحكم في هذا المصنع الذي تملكه وتوفير الطاقة والوقت الذين من الممكن إما أن يتم استغلالهما الإستغلال الأمثل أو أن يتم إهدار هذه الموارد هباءا ً فتشعر باستمرار بضياع طاقتك وإهدار وقتك فيما لا يفيد

عقلك هو مصنع الأفكار. وأنت المالك الوحيد لهذا المصنع. كما أن مخك هو الموظف الوحيد في هذا المصنع. وهذا الموظف هو موظف مخلص تجده يتفانى في عمله تبعا ً لأوامرك لينفذها على أكمل وجه

ولكنه في نفس الوقت هو مدير سيئ. فهو إن لم تعطه الأوامر أو الخطة المحددة مسبقا ً تجده لا يقودك إلا للأفكار السيئة والمواقف المحبطة

نفسك إن لم تشغلها بالحق شغلتك بالباطل

إحرص على السيطرة على أفكارك كل يوم لتسعد في حياتك

The idea may look strange. I really wouldn't have believed it until I tried it myself.

The Chinese Language may one of the most difficult languages in the world. But this concept may change this idea.

Today I came to a website that introduces Chinese vocabulary in a visual form.

When you see the vocabulary it becomes very easy to understand and remember.

Yes, these are the simple characters that make The Chinese Language.

This new concept visualizes the actions as reflected on the symbols that make up the Chinese language.

I also found this visual dictionary for Chinese to English Translation.

ربما تبدو الفكرة غريبة إلى حد ما . وبالفعل لم أكن لأصدق هذه الفكرة بدون تجربتها لذلك قررت تجربتها بنفسى ومعرفة النتيجة

تعد اللغة الصينية واحدة من أصعب اللغات التى يتحدث بها البشر فى العالم

اليوم وجدت هذا الموقع الإلكترونى الذى يتيح لك تعلم اللغة الصينية فى ثمان دقائق

تقوم فكرة هذا الموقع على توظيف الأشكال التوضيحية لشرح ارتباط الحروف التى تكون اللغة الصينية بمدلول كل حرف بطريقة بصرية مما يتيح سهولة تذكرها وفهم معانيها . وقد جربت هذه الطريقة بنفسى وبالفعل تذكرت الكثير من الحروف ببساطة على الرغم من عدم معرفتى بأى من حروف اللغة الصينية من قبل

هذا الرمز يعني كلمة شخص

أحياناً تجد أن هذا الرمز ينطبق على الشكل الذى يشير إليه المعنى وأحياناً لا ينطبق . إلا أن الفكرة فى حد ذاتها تساعد على التذكر بشكل كبير

Treasure From The Past

Today I found something I consider as a Treasure From The Past.

I found some Sketches I drawn from nearly six and seven years.

I have decided to scan them to keep them in digital format and to share them with you.

There is a story behind every sketch.

The truth is that I have drawn them in the past in some few days as the dates indicate. I mean that I have drawn more than one sketch in the day for only few days.

All I remember is that one day I started to sketch and brought the papers and pencil, then the ideas started to flow in my mind and in my pencil.

The other days after - even one day or a year later - when I looked at those sketches I say to myself : "Those sketches are gorgeous. I've drawn them myself, so I can do it again."

Then I start to sketch more.

The other motive that made the process going is unbelievable.

I always kept the drawn sketches in an envelope with white A4 papers. So, every time I see the sketches I find the white papers with them and start drawing.

And today I didn't draw as I do every time I see those sketches, but I decided to digitize them with the scanner.

But of course I'll continue to sketch more.
I noticed that many successful blogs and websites contain beautiful illustrations and those which have the original sketches are more beautiful than those with sketches and illustrations copied from the internet.

And maybe someday I start sketching tutorials.

Now, I'll leave you to see those sketches and tell me what you think about them.

اليوم اكتشفت كنز من الرسومات القديمة التى قمت برسمها منذ سبع سنوات واحتفظت بها إلى اليوم

اليوم رأيتها وقررت أن أقوم بتحويلها إلى الصورة الرقمية ومشاركتها مع قراء مدونتي الأعزاء

وراء كل لوحة قصة وذكرى معينة

بالرغم من تنوع موضوعات اللوحات واختلافها وتوزع تواريخها على سنوات مختلفة , إلا أننى قمت برسمها فى أيام قليلة . أي أنني كنت أقوم برسم لوحات كثيرة فى يوم واحد ثم أعود بعد ذلك بأيام أو بعد سنين للرسم مرة ثانية

لا أعرف كيف بدأت أول مرة . ولكنني في هذا اليوم قررت أن أقوم بالرسم فأحضرت قلماً وبعض الأوراق البيضاء وإذا بالأفكار تنساب إلى عقلي كما تنساب الكلمات 

وفى كل مرة كنت أترك الأوراق البيضاء بجوار اللوحات المرسومة . فإذا عدت بعد فترة لأرى هذه اللوحات أفاجأ بروعتها وأتساءل كيف قمت برسمها وأجد الأوراق البيضاء فأبدأ بالرسم مرة أخرى

واليوم لم أقم بالرسم أيضاً ولكن قررت تحويلها إلى الصورة الرقمية على جهاز السكانر

ولكن بالتأكيد سوف أواصل الرسم حيث أنني لازلت أحتفظت بهذه الأوراق البيضاء . كما أننى قد اكتسبت الكثير من الخبرات فى هذا الموضوع . كما لاحظت أن الكثير من المدونات الناجحة تحتوى على الصور الجميلة كما أن الصور الأصلية التي يقوم صاحب المدونة برسمها بنفسه كثيراً ما تجذب القراء أكثر مما تفعله الصور الجاهزة المنسوخة من على شبكة الإنترنت

ومن يعلم , فربما أقرر أن أبدأ يوماً من الأيام دروساً فى الرسم من خلال مشاركتي لبعض الأفكار والدروس البسيطة التى تعلمتها
